A Commitment to Public Service with Honesty & Integrity
Since taking office January 4th 2021 Prosecutor Kyle L. Stone has been serving the citizens of Stark County with integrity and innovation. His deep roots in the community have proven to be instrumental in many collaborative efforts in lowering and preventing crime. A Canton native and 2001 graduate of Canton McKinley Senior High School Prosecutor Stone then went on to obtain a BA in Law & Liberal Arts from the University of Findlay and shortly thereafter obtained a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Akron. Having been a licensed Minister since 2004, Attorney Stone pursued and received a Masters of Ministry from Temple Baptist Seminary (10) and was later Ordained as a Pastor in July 2011. In 2014 Attorney Stone received his JD degree from the University of Akron School of Law. Attorney Stone believes in the servant leader perspective, and believes that even in elected office, we are to serve the people with sincerity and humility.
Attorney Stone enjoys spending time with his family and friends, specifically his daughter Keyana and his grand-daughter Brooklyn Nicole!
Attorney Stone is a member of the Ohio Bar, Federal Northern District of Ohio, as well as a member of the following bar associations; Ohio, Stark County, Akron-Canton Barristers, and Norman S. Minor Bar Association. In addition to these organizations Attorney Stone serves as a Board member for United Way, Canton Symphony Orchestra, Ohio Justice Alliance for Community Corrections (OJACC) and also the National Black Prosecutors Association (NBPA).
